We have employed a Health & Safety Advisor specifically to deal with health and safety matters as we take this area very seriously. The net result of investment in H & S is that all our men are certified for manual handling, risk assessment, access platform's and hilti guns just to name a few.
We hold regular tool-box-talks and all our workers have been inducted by the company to ensure that they understand what is required of them with regard to health & safety. Our supervisors have been trained in health and safety which is refreshed every two years, the most recent update being the new CDM regulations for April 2007. Over 90% of our sub-contractors and 100% of employees hold a current CSCS card. John O'Connell is a member of the FPDC Health and Safety Task Group.
We take Health and Safety very seriously as such we have developed our own guidlines for working practices, including :- Emergency contacts, Method statement, Safety Policy, Environmental Policy, COSHH assessment, Noise assessment, Risk assessment, Manual Handling.
